* Faculty and staff with 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service to the state will be recognized in a ceremony at 3 p.m. today (Thursday, Sept. 13) in the CAC Theater.

* Campus Recreation and the American Red Cross are hosting a fall blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. today (Thursday, Sept. 13) in the Heskett Center lobby. To set up an appointment, visit http://www.redcrossblood.org. Appointments are taken every 15 minutes. Walk-ins are welcome.

* Guest speaker Catherine M. Bohn-Gettler will present "Depending on My Mood: Mood-Driven Influences on Reading Comprehension" at the Department of Curriculum and Instruction research colloquium at 3 p.m. today (Thursday, Sept. 13) in 155 Corbin Education Center.

* "Nail It Then Scale It!" is the title of the first program in the Entrepreneurship Forum Series for Business Ownership from 3:30-4:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Sept. 13) in 107 Devlin Hall. Admission is free. Paul Ahlstrom, author of the book "Nail It Then Scale It," will present the program. * The Center for Entrepreneurship has released its fall 2012 Practical Entrepreneur Training Tools schedule. The first session, "Strategic Planning as a Best Practice -- Lessons Learned," will be led by Don Hackett from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, in Devlin Hall.
