Don't throw away your old, worn-out athletic shoes. This semester, Campus Recreation will host a Reuse-A-Shoe drive through Nike. Our goal is to collect 500 pairs of worn out shoes by the end of the semester. Reuse-A-Shoe is different because they take worn-out shoes -- those that would otherwise go to a landfill -- and turn them into something new, like tracks and playgrounds. Drop off athletic shoes of any brand for recycling in the boxes placed inside the Heskett Center. Do not bring shoes containing metal, cleats, dress shoes, sandals or flip-flops.
