* Faculty and staff are invited to Safe Zone training from 3-5 p.m. today (Tuesday, Sept. 18) in 206 Heskett Center. The goal of Safe Zone training is to provide a welcoming environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and ally (LGTBQA) persons by establishing an identifiable network of supportive persons who can provide support, information and a safe place for LGBTQA persons within the WSU campus community. * The Ulrich Museum of Art will host a curator talk with Danielle Burns at 6 p.m. today (Tuesday, Sept. 18) in 210 McKnight Art Center West. Burns is curator of the Houston Public Library and Houston Museum of African American Culture. Admission is free.

* The Sociology Club will present the movie "#ReGENERATION," about the politics of apathy and activism, at 7 p.m. today (Tuesday, Sept. 18) in 100 Lindquist Hall. Admission is free. Refreshments will be served. Robert Gosling narrates this engrossing film about social activism, the forces that galvanized the Occupy movement, and how a new generation of young people is coming to terms with a rapidly changing world.

* A Faculty Artist recital will be presented at 7:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Sept. 18) in Miller Concert Hall. The concert "Indulgences and Curiosities" will feature Deborah Baxter, mezzo soprano, and Thomas Grubb, piano. * The Center for Entrepreneurship has released its fall 2012 Practical Entrepreneur Training Tools schedule. The first session, "Strategic Planning as a Best Practice -- Lessons Learned," will be led by Don Hackett from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, in Devlin Hall.
