More than 170 attendees at the WSU retirement coffee on Sept. 4 at the Marcus Welcome Center were welcomed by James Rhatigan, consultant for the WSU Foundation and WSU Alumni Association. President John and First Lady Deborah Bardo mingled with former co-workers and Bardo spoke about his five areas of interest for the future of WSU. Entertainment was provided by Rhatigan and his humorous stories of 30-plus years in student life at WSU, and Wichita State students Maria Begacheva on cello and K.C. Graham on piano.
