* Science editor Jonathan Cobb will present "Science in the Public Eye" as part of the Fall 2012 Physics Seminar Series at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 26) in 128 Jabara Hall.

* The next speaker in the Fall 2012 Chemistry Colloquium series is professor Jefferson Knight of the University of Colorado, Denver. Knight will present ""Viewing Protein-Membrane Interactions, One Molecule at a Time"" at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 26) in 224 McKinley Hall.

* Three sessions are still available for the Diversity Workshop, hosted by Human Resources, from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, and 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8. These are open to all staff, faculty and students. The facilitator will be Robert Simon, an experienced speaker and consultant who works with various organizations from coast to coast.
