Promote campus health assessment

The Alcohol Advisory Board has contracted with the American College Health Association to conduct the National College Health Assessment to assess student health risks, beliefs, behaviors and consequences. Students will receive an email from ACHA and have until Saturday, Oct. 6, to access and complete the 20-minute survey. Please encourage students to complete the NCHA.

The ACHA-National College Health Assessment is a nationally recognized research survey that assists in collecting data about students' health habits, behaviors, and perceptions.

More than 825,000 students at more than 550 colleges and universities across the country have already taken the survey. Results of the survey will help in assessing the effectiveness of prevention and health promotion programs.

In addition, results will assist in planning future prevention programs and general health promotion efforts on campus; including promotion of general physical and mental health, alcohol and drug abuse prevention, violence/sexual assault prevention and other campus health and wellness initiatives.
