* Probationary faculty members are welcome to attend the Pre-Tenure Club Meeting from 3-4 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 28) in 116 Neff Hall 116. The informal group provides information, support, advice and fellowship to faculty members navigating the path to tenure.
* WSU's African American Faculty and Staff Association will host a Shining Stars Awards Gala scholarship fundraiser at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Confirmed guests and presenters include Mayor Carl Brewer and Vice-Mayor Lavonta Williams, Cheese Johnson, and a host of administrators, faculty and students. Doors open at 5:20 p.m. and tickets will be sold at the door.
