There is a new Social Sciences Honorary Society coming to WSU. Pi Gamma Mu, Lambda Kansas is being newly chartered at WSU. Faculty sponsors are Sherry Chapman, instructor, School of Social Work, and Carolyn Shaw, chair, Department of Political Science and International Studies. An informational meeting for eligible students was held Sept. 26 in Lindquist Hall. The initiation ceremony for charter members is scheduled at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in 138 Hughes Metropolitan Complex. WSU President John Bardo, a Pi Gamma Mu member, is expected to attend the initiation ceremony.
