* The Fall 2012 Physics Seminar Series continues with a presentation by professor Adrian Melott of the University of Kansas at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 3) in 128 Jabara Hall. The presentation is titled "Zapping Charlemagne's Power Grid: The Solar Superflare in AD 774."
* Professor Danial LaBarbera of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Colorado will present "Novel Anti-Metastatic Agents for the Treatment of Drug-Resistant and Metastatic Colon Cancer" at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 3) in 224 McKinley Hall.

* The State Employee Health Plan (SEHP) and CVS Caremark will provide flu shots for faculty and staff from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the Heskett Center lobby. No appointment necessary. There's no cost for anyone on the SEHP (includes dependents age 18 and older). Just bring a copy of your Caremark prescription drug ID card. No copayment is required at the onsite clinic.
* Practical Entrepreneur Training Tools will feature "Identifying Financing Resources for Your Small Business" from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, in Devlin Hall.
