Upcoming training sessions
A training session on using Word 2010 will be offered from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Oct. 2, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training will help the user learn to use Word to quickly create a professional document. Topics include adjusting page numbering, configuring Headers and Footers and using styles for creating an automatic table of contents.

Advanced Microsoft Outlook
A training session on Advanced Microsoft Outlook 2010 will be offered from 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training covers archiving entire mailboxes as well as limiting archiving to selected folders. Additional topics include making messages standout, using templates and editing messages after they have been received.

Beginning Excel 2010
A training session on Microsoft Beginning Excel 2010 will be offered from 9:30 a.m.-noon Thursday, Oct. 4, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training introduces the user to customizing their Excel experience. There is focus on why Microsoft setup Excel the way they did and how to change things. Some topics include protecting the workbook, inserting rows and columns, calculation options, adjusting the print area to fit the size of the paper being used and working with multiple workbooks.

Beginning PowerPoint 2010
A training session on using PowerPoint 2010 will be offered from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training will help the user to learn to use PowerPoint to quickly create a professional presentation. Topics include creating slides, rearranging slides, adding design elements and printing the presentation.
