A Campus Ministry cookout and baseball watch party is planned for 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at University UMC (2220 N. Yale, just across from campus). Campus Ministry@WSU will host a cookout open to all WSU students, faculty and staff. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served before going to Eck Stadium to watch the Shockers play a fall World Series scrimmage game at 6:30 p.m. Bring a can of food for admission to the game (for the Kansas Food Bank) but dinner is on us -- sponsored by University UMC and Calvary UMC. Please RSVP by email to christopher.eshelman@wichita.edu no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, so the right amount of food can be prepared.
