Tallgrass Film Festival event scheduled on campus

As part of the Tallgrass Film Festival, the Department of Geology and the Center for Environment and Human Health will present the film "SWITCH," at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in 209 Hubbard Hall. Admission is free. The film discusses hydraulic fracturing, outlook for gasoline prices and viability of energy alternatives. The film is a nonbiased look at our energy future and a nonpartisan approach to an energy future as surprising as it is practical. A panel of experts will be available after the film to meet and discuss the issues with the audience. Winner of numerous film festivals, "SWITCH" has been recommended by a wide array of energy specialists. Please help spread the word to students and other interested people.
