The following is an excerpt about WSU students Katie Niggemeyer and Angela Jakubov, from the June 18, 2008, edition of The Daily Freeman-Journal.
Webster City native Katie Niggemeyer learned the game of volleyball right here in central Iowa and the knowledge she gained earned her a Division I college scholarship.
She's now back to pass on what she's learned to the younger aspiring volleyball players in the area.
Niggemeyer, a junior at Wichita State University, will be joined by senior teammate Angela Jakubov, as they will run a Wichita State Shocker Volleyball Camp from July 15 through July 18 inside Jefferson Gymnasium at the Webster City Middle School.
