The Wichita State University men’s and women’s bowling teams are now national champions – again.
Both teams won the national title at the U.S. Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships Saturday, April 18, in Rockford, Ill.
It’s the women’s third national title in five years and their record ninth title overall.

This was a historic weekend for the Shockers, as they became the third men’s and women’s teams to win joint titles in national championship history. The Shockers completed the same feat in 1994.
