WSU freshman Rachel Shannon was the focus of a Sept. 2 story on KSNW Channel 3.
Some incoming students at Kansas universities are already ahead of the game by earning college credits in high school. In fact one Wichita State University student, who is only 18, has already earned a degree.
If you see her walking down the hallway, Rachel Shannon certainly looks like a typical student.
She is new to the school, but already has 64 college credits and her associate's degree.
