Prof emeritus Bajaj is president of KAC Bajaj, D'Souza elected to Kansas Authors Club positions

Prem Bajaj, associate professor emeritus in mathematics and statistics at Wichita State, was voted 2011 president of the Kansas Authors Club (KAC).

He was also given the Service Award for his work in 2010.
Bajaj is a past financial secretary and treasurer for the KAC.

While he was aware that he was to become president, Bajaj wasn’t expecting the honor of the Service Award.

“(It) was a complete surprise to me,” he said. “I had no hint that it was coming.”

Alan D’Souza, policy analyst director for TRIO, was voted into the position of KAC awards chair for 2011.
