It’s a short month for the College of Fine Arts at Wichita State University, but December offers an event-packed first two weeks.
The month gets off to a jazzy start in the School of Performing Arts with the WSU Concert Band and Jazz Arts II, followed by the Symphonic Wind Ensemble and then the WSU Symphony Holiday Pops Concert.

From the School of Art and Design, the thesis work of WSU’s master of fine arts candidates Amber Stene and Nick Meyer-Hessler will be showcased at the Ulrich Museum of Art, along with current exhibitions.
