Welcome to the Wichita State University Industrial Training and Assessment Center
The Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC) at Oklahoma State University and Wichita State University helps small to medium-sized manufacturers reduce energy and waste, while increasing productivity. Funded by the US Department of Energy, our team provides expert assessments and training.

What is ITAC
ITAC provides energy-efficiency services to small and medium-sized manufacturers across the United States. Our Wichita State University team conducts free on-site assessments to identify opportunities for energy conservation, waste reduction, and productivity improvements. We collaborate closely with Oklahoma State University, where Dr. Hitesh Vora leads a team of faculty and students. At Wichita State, our team includes Dr. Mehmet Bayram Yildirim, Dr. Deepak Gupta, and a group of six to ten students from Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. programs working with us at any given time.
