Challenges

Team Display -- ALL teams participate in the Team Display Competition. Each team will be provided a table to set up a Team Display that should provide an overview of the team and its efforts/activities to build a team and prepare for the Challenge. Teams are encouraged to be creative and to express the "personality" of the team in their display. One award will be given at each level, Beginner, Beginner II, Intermediate, and Expert, to the team earning the most points within that level. Points from Team Display apply toward the overall awards in each level.

Team Notebook -- ALL teams participate in the Team Notebook Competition. The Notebook should be maintained throughout the entire season as the team prepares for the Challenge and should reflect the journey the team went through to prepare for the competition.

Team Presentation -- Intermediate and Expert Teams are required to make presentations. One award will be given at each level, Intermediate and Expert, to the team earning the most points within that level. Points from the Presentation apply toward the overall awards in each level.

Team Interview -- Beginner and Beginner II Teams are required to participate in a Team Interview. During the Interview, judges will ask students 5 questions, randomly chosen from the 15 that will be posted on the website. The atmosphere will be relaxed and conversational.
