Paul F. Cromwell

Dr. Paul Cromwell is Professor Emeritus of Criminal Justice at Wichita State University. He received his Ph.D. in Criminology from Florida State University in 1986. His publications include 16 books and over 50 articles and book chapters. Recent publications include Breaking and Entering: Burglars on Burglary (Wadsworth, 2003), In Their Own Words: Criminals on Crime (Oxford University Press, 2007). He has extensive experience in the criminal justice system, including Parole Commissioner and Chairman of the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles, Chief Juvenile Probation Officer and as a United States Probation and Parole Officer. He has taught previously at the University of Texas and the University of Miami.
