The English department at Wichita State University boasts a broad and flexible program of courses that are central to a liberal arts education. The department offers degree programs in creative writing, literature and English teaching, as well as a range of courses in linguistics.

COVID-19 UPDATE

Due to the Sedgwick County stay-at-home order, the WSU campus will be closed 3/25-4/25.  The English Department Office at Lindquist Hall will therefore be closed. However, the department continues to operate remotely, and your faculty and instuctors are still accessible via email and other remote methods. We are all committed to your education and scholarship, so you should feel free to contact your instructors or myself with any concerns.
