Wichit State College Basketball Reporting Intern

Mid-Major Basketball (MidMajorBasketball.com) is seeking a strong, detail-oriented reporting
intern to help cover the men’s basketball program at Wichita State. This unpaid internship runs
for the entire 2025-26 college basketball season, beginning in October and concluding in March.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce clean and accurate game, news, and feature stories.
  • Interview players, coaches, and key stakeholders.
  • Highlight key players, storylines, and games around the men’s college basketball program and conference.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute as a credentialed media member, providing indepth coverage for a leading source of college basketball news. A successful intern will gain a strong portfolio of writing clips and valuable experience covering college basketball for a national basketball outlet.
