Paid Internships in Philosophy

(Humanities Internships Reward Employers)

Thanks to a generous grant from the Mellon Foundation, four philosophy students have helped launch the Philosophy in Practice track of the WSU-HIREs paid internship program. 

  • Philosophy in Practice internship placements for Spring 2026 include philosophy of medicine/bioethics, pre-law, and philosophy of STEM.
  • Summer 2026 positions in Pre-Law, Health Humanities, Digital Humanities and more are available now. Students should apply through ShockerCentral at myWSU.wichita.edu.
