Our Five Priorities
As the College of Fine Arts enters its second century, our priorities reflect a deep commitment to access, student success, and the evolving needs of artistic education. These initiatives are designed to remove barriers, strengthen student experiences, and ensure our graduates are prepared to thrive in a creative and dynamic world.
Need-based Student Scholarships
Expanding scholarship support ensures that talented students can pursue a fine arts education regardless of financial circumstance, making access to the arts more equitable and inclusive.
Student Professional Development Fund
This fund supports opportunities beyond the classroom—such as conferences, exhibitions, performances, and internships—helping students build professional networks and launch successful careers.
Start to Strong: You Belong Here: Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Fund
By connecting students with trained peer mentors, this program fosters community, belonging, and academic confidence, especially during the critical first year.
Start to Strong: Summer Advantage Program
