Hours needed to complete the degree: 120

  1. All incoming freshman are required to take one First-Year Seminar as part of their General Education program. Students who are exempt from First-Year Seminar requirements may take an additional open elective.
  2. Open electives are any course, in any subject that are at least numbered 100 or above.
  3. To complete WSU general education requirements students are required to have completed 9 credits of 300+ level general education courses. Courses that satisfy 6 of those 9 credits are included in Barton School of Business curriculum. Students are encouraged to select a 300+ level general education course in the humanities, fine arts, or math and natural sciences divisions to satisfy general education requirements.
  4. MIS major electives are as follows: MIS 610, MIS 611, MIS 612, MIS 615, MIS 690, MIS 750, BSAN 675
  5. The OR designates a choice for students across multiple semesters. Students should not exceed 15 credit hours per semester without consulting with an advisor.
