Hours needed to complete the degree: 120

  1. All incoming freshman are required to take one First-Year Seminar as part of their General Education program. Students who are exempt from First-Year Seminar requirements may take an additional open elective.
  2. Required zero-credit hour course for all first year Honors students
  3. Research or Design-Thinking experience required.
  4. Students must complete at least 18 credit hours in each of two dpeartmental majors/disciplines from at least two colleges or at least 12 credit hours in each of three departmental majors/disciplines from at least two colleges.
  5. Honors Thesis or Capstone Project
  6. Honors course electives and experiences- HNRS seminars, H department courses, or honors option agreement courses.
  7. Applied Learning can be an internship, cooperative education, travel seminar, or other opportunties.
