  1. C- or higher required.
  2. Students who have earned an Associate Degree or 30 credit hours prior to high school graduation and before starting classes at WSU as a degree-bound student, may be exempt from taking a First-Year Seminar course. Those students must take an additional general education approved course.
  3. All music majors must pass a piano proficiency examination.
  4. Students will choose a focus area in consultation with faculty. Examples include: composition and songwriting, audio production and engineering, music business and industry, and media collaboration.
