Applied learning at Wichita State

At Wichita State, applied learning is everything. In fact, every degree we offer has a guaranteed applied learning or research experience built right into it equipping you with the relevant skills and experience to make you workforce ready before graduation.

Admission to the program

To be considered for admission to the accelerated bachelor's to master's in learning and instructional design, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Submit the Graduate School application, including:
    • A personal statement
    • A recommendation from a faculty member
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Undergraduate and graduate program advisor approval of any graduate courses for dual credit
  • Submit a dual enrollment form at the time of registration for courses that will carry dual credit

Curriculum

Upon admission to the accelerated program, you'll be granted tentative admission to the graduate program in learning and instructional design and allowed to enroll in courses for graduate credit prior to completing undergraduate degree requirements.

You're encouraged to create a tentative plan of study in consultation with your undergraduate coordinator and/or graduate coordinator.
