Dr. Suzanne Hawley
Professor, Department of Public Health Sciences
Dr. Suzanne Hawley, MPH, LP, is a professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences and a licensed clinical psychologist. Hawley earned a Master of Public Health with a concentration in biostatistics and a doctorate in clinical psychology from Loma Linda University. For over 30 years, Hawley has worked as a clinician and researcher in educational settings, community mental health programs, psychiatric hospitals and prisons. Her work focuses on leadership development, health disparities and mental health. She has served as a co-investigator for HRSA Public Health Training Centers, contributed to more than 40 grant-funded projects, published 50 articles and book chapters, and delivered over 200 presentations.
