Why do you think other students should consider studying abroad?
Studying abroad lets you learn a language while you fully immerse yourself in a culture different than your own. It's impossible to not learn more about yourself and others when you're constantly experiencing new things and meeting new people. Study abroad is so much more than a trip because you are surrounded by people who are just as curious and ready to learn as you are.
Why did you choose to study abroad in France?
I've been learning French off and on since middle school. I wanted to continue learning the language while living in another country.
How do you think the program will benefit you in your future career?
In France, I was constantly learning from my mistakes, solving problems, and becoming more resilient. That was all in the context of learning a new language and living in a new country, but those same skills can be transferred to engineering. It's all just evaluation, problem solving, and solutions in different forms.
