"The main reason I decided to study abroad was because I wanted to experience what it would be like to live in another country and experience different cultures and traditions. I chose Europe because I have always been interested in the history and Germany specifically because, as an engineering student, it is one of the best places in the world to study engineering."

Why should other engineering students study abroad?

Studying abroad is a great opportunity for engineering students to gain a different perspective on engineering in different parts of the world. It can help you to improve your knowledge of a foreign language which can put you at a competitive advantage when applying for jobs. You can also use your study abroad experience for one of your Engineering+ credits which you need to graduate.

What did you enjoy most about studying abroad?

The thing I enjoyed most about studying abroad was being able to travel all around a continent that I had never been to before and go to places I might have never been able to see if I wasn't living here. Also, the friends that I was able to make from all around the world, have provided me with incredible memories that I will always be thankful for.
