Why would you recommend the program to other U.S. students?

I would recommend being part of the buddy program because it's like a big family where you get to meet new people from different parts of the world, and you can help the international students make new memories in a new place.

Why did you sign up to be a buddy?

I signed up to be a buddy because I wanted to be that person my buddy could go to for help or even when they just needed a friend. I am from Wichita, so I wanted to share my community while giving them an experience they could remember.

How did you benefit from the program?

The buddy program benefited me by introducing me to new people from different backgrounds and cultures. It has helped me come out of my shell and make lifelong friends that I can visit.
