COVID-19 Update: Event Cancellation

After much thought and consideration, we have made a difficult decision to postpone the 4th annual DiverseCity Showcase, originally taking place from April 13-18, 2020. We are taking the advice of the CDC to practice social distancing due to COVID-19. Wichita State University and Student Health Services are closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak. The health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and community members is our highest priority. We look forward to hosting this event in the fall.

Meet the Committee

The Marketing and Communications committee of the President's Diversity Council focuses on all forms of strategic communications, including University websites, social media platforms and other communication channels, to provide a comprehensive marketing message that showcases Wichita State University's efforts in diversity. Each year, the committee coordinates a diversity showcase for the University in efforts to give Shocker Nation a glance of the successes from individuals, departments and organizations in the campus community that were made possible through diversity.
