The President's Inclusive Council is an advisory and leadership team responsible for developing, overseeing and monitoring University-wide efforts to achieve Wichita State University's commitment to diversity as a core institutional and educational value.

Working Toward an Inclusive Campus Climate

The President's Inclusive Council is composed of individuals from Wichita State University who are involved in efforts to promote and cultivate an inclusive campus climate.

Members of the Council receive an official University appointment, on behalf of the Office of the President of Wichita State University, under the direction of the vice president for Military and Veterans Affairs. As advocates for inclusive excellence, the Council values and promotes cross-campus collaboration; consults with faculty, staff and University departments; and regularly supports and participates in diversity enrichment opportunities.

Wichita State University President's Inclusive Council Subcommittee Goals

Committees

Each of our Council Members serves on one committee to help move PDC projects and initiatives forward. Our committees are charged with reviewing current practice, researching best practices, supporting the development of diversity education and learning and providing recommendations that assist Wichita State University achieve its strategic plan goals.

Each year, the committees are tasked to draft new goals and objectives, while evaluating previous year's successes to incorporate into the Council.
