Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is a restaurant chain founded in Wichita in 2002. Their location on the main floor of the Rhatigan Student Center is just one of many on-campus dining options, as well one of many Freddy's locations around the city.

This is one of my favorite vegetarian meals to eat on campus! It's filling but doesn't leave me bogged down the rest of the afternoon, so it's perfect for a workday lunch. The veggie burger consists of a black bean burger topped with cheese, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes and fragrant onions. Freddy's iconic shoestring fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The saltiness of the fries pair perfectly with a side of Freddy's fry sauce.
My favorite was the veggie burger! I love the taste and it always hits the spot.
