This free app allows prospective students to build relationships with other's in their class and current Shockers before their first semester starts. Joining Wichita State’s community and creating your own profile is quick and easy. Some of the app’s features include roommate matching, multiple chats to get answers to your questions and virtual ice-breaker games our staff hosts regularly within the app. What’s more, Wichita State boasts one of the more active communities on ZeeMee!

YouTube

Our admissions YouTube channel is consistently updated with quality content. There is already a good backlog of Shock Docs – short mini documentary-style videos highlighting current and former Shockers – with more on the way. Our channel also has mini campus tours diving into academic colleges. Plus, our recordings of virtual events for students are regularly uploaded.

BONUS: On the official Wichita State University YouTube channel, University President Rick Muma posts his Forward Together Podcast where he invites a wide range of guests in the campus community (including admissions' own Bobby Gandu).
