The women's novice 8+ (2nd boat) suffered equipment breakage but raced anyway. This gave them no chance to medal. We are very proud of their effort.
Team Fact: In fall of 1999 the team won medals in only one event while competing at two medaling regattas. This year the team has won six medals at two medaling regattas.

Wind blew out the MWRC regatta. Saturday was the only day we got in the heats for the following events: Novice Women 4+, Novice Men 4+, Novice Women 8+ and Novice Men 8+. On Saturday the two crews who did row did qualify for the finals. (Men's Novice 4+ & Women's Novice 8+)

The Grand Final for the Men's Novice 4+ was canceled due to bad weather. We did not stay for Sunday as we only had one crew in an event (Women's Novice 8+ Final) and the weather was not looking promising.

GREAT showing for the men as earlier in the year Colorado bested us by 20 seconds in the 8+ and we lost to KSU by states by .8 seconds. At this regatta CO's time was 6:14 and KSU's was 7:13
Our Novice Men 8+ and Novice Women 4+ also made the finals finishing 4th of 6. Wichita finished second in team points with 124, St. Thomas won points with 129. Our Lightweight women's 4+ and Varsity women's 8+ are undefeated this spring.
