Serving USD 261

Haysville was awarded $4.2 million dollars in funding from the U.S. Department of Education on October 2018 to implement GEAR UP through 2025. The grant provides Haysville over $8.4 million in resources to devote to college access and success services.

Haysville GEAR UP aims to expand the college-going culture and shift the district education culture in USD 261. Our goals are to increase academic performance and high school graduation. As well as preparing students & families for post-secondary education.

Haysville GEARUP is currently serving a cohort of 882 students. It is currently comprised of the Class of 2025 and the Class of 2024 from Haysville High School and Campus High School.
