After graduating with a degree in Applied Computing with a focus on Cybersecurity in 2022, Regan Archibald’s career trajectory has been anything but stagnant. Starting at Ennovar in a lab position focused on certifications, Regan soon transitioned into Identity Access Management at Textron, followed by a SOC analyst role at Spirit AeroSystems. Now, he leads as an Enterprise Technology Supervisor at First Western Trust, where he manages tickets and projects to remove roadblocks and ensure smooth operations for employees, ultimately impacting the experience of the bank’s clients.
Regan credits much of his early growth to Ennovar. “The internships were the best experience for jumping into evolving my own career,” he shared. “I felt much more prepared than if I had tried to get ahead on my own.” He also emphasized how the program pushed him to aim higher and reach for opportunities that initially felt out of range.

“Networking really is the number one most important aspect in career growth,” he said. For current Ennovar students, his advice is clear: “Really hone your ability to hold a conversation and speak. Stay in touch with those people in your class or at Ennovar… and if anyone promises anything at work, get it in writing.”
Outside of work, Regan enjoys the outdoors; hunting, hiking, and camping are all high on his list. He encourages others in tech to find balance. “Be a well-rounded IT nerd. Get outside and touch grass.”
