Christine Tran is a BBA student in Economics and Management Information Systems, graduating in May 2026, and currently works as a Co-op Data Analyst for Sales and Marketing at Textron Aviation’s West Campus. In her role, she focuses on data provision, reporting, and analysis to support sales and marketing teams. Her work includes responding to ad hoc data requests, building custom Power BI dashboards, and calculating key metrics used for sales prospecting and marketing campaigns. She also creates presentations on sales zone strategy, translating complex data into real-world insights through an economic lens.
Christine’s path into data analytics was shaped early on by her time with Ennovar. She began at the Help Hangar, where she developed foundational interpersonal and problem-solving skills. “Starting out at the Help Hangar with Ennovar helped me to develop interpersonal and problem-solving skills that would later set me up for success in a work environment where collaboration, resilience, and a willingness to learn are the keys to overcoming new and difficult obstacles,” she shared.

Being surrounded by driven peers encouraged her to explore new interests and speak up about her goals. She credits her first Ennovar manager, Jackson Hoyle, with helping open the door to data analytics by connecting her with the IT Data Analytics, Automation, and AI team at Textron Aviation, where she transitioned into a project-based analytics and engineering role while continuing under Ennovar.

One of the most meaningful parts of Christine’s Ennovar experience was the people. “My favorite part of being at Ennovar was learning with everyone at each new position that I transitioned into,” she said. She noted that coworkers were always willing to share their knowledge, which made it easier to ask questions and continue learning. The sense of camaraderie among students and experienced professionals alike helped create an environment where growth felt encouraged rather than intimidating.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys working out, going on walks, journaling, and watching movies.
One of her most meaningful hobbies is lion dancing. She shared that her Vietnamese heritage is a crucial part of her identity, and lion dancing allows her to stay connected to her culture and to other Vietnamese-American students. She hopes to continue representing her culture through language and performance.
For current Ennovar students, Christine offers this advice: “Don’t be afraid to initiate the conversation. Ask if you can work on that new project, get someone to explain that topic that piqued your interest, let someone know you want to learn more about what they study, or just get to know someone better. You never know where those conversations or connections might lead you.”
