Brent Baxter, a Mechanical Engineering major planning to graduate in 2028, is currently a lead at the Ennovar Integration Kitting Hub. His day-to-day involves managing the production and delivery of kits with fasteners, but he’s also hands-on with employee productivity, training, and supporting special projects across the team.

“Ennovar has challenged me to think outside of the box for better and more efficient solutions,” Brent shared. “I’ve also become a more effective people manager through provided leadership development.”

The experience has helped him grow professionally while gaining practical leadership skills early in his college career. His interest in engineering started in high school, where a few early classes sparked a lasting passion. “Working in a field that requires the use of both your hands and brain has brought out a sense of excitement—making this more than just a job, it’s a passion.”

Now with his first year of college behind him, Brent’s focused on finishing both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees while continuing to build on his workplace experience. When it comes to Ennovar, Brent says his favorite part is simple: “The people.” He emphasized how much he’s learned from those around him, and how their support has helped him grow in ways that go beyond just technical knowledge. “I have met many wonderful people who have helped me grow in many ways,” he said.
