Overview

Anna brings over a decade of experience supporting environmental organizations in advancing their missions through program development, fundraising, grant management, community engagement, and communications. Anna has helped local governments and non-profits furthering environmental projects, exposing her to the challenges of navigating federal, state, and local regulatory and grant development requirements.  Before joining the WSU Environmental Finance Center, she spent five years working for an organization that provided technical assistance to small businesses applying for government contracts, supporting residents navigating the land acquisition process, and addressing systemic land stewardship challenges. She has also held various roles focused on translating complex scientific and technical information into compelling, human-centered narratives that improve public understanding of environmental programs and impacts.

Anna was raised in central Kansas and currently lives in Lawrence, Kansas, with her husband, three children, and two dogs. When she’s not working, she loves hiking, drinking coffee, and going on adventures with her kids.
