Overview

Xiaoheng Wang received her doctoral degree from the Department of Public Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her research interests include public budgeting and finance, financial management of state and local governments, and survey methods. Dr. Wang’s work has been published in the American Review of Public Administration, State and Local Government Review, Survey Research Methods, Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting & Financial Management, Chinese Public Administration Review, and IEEE Access. She has contributed to multiple interdisciplinary research grants and has served as Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) on projects funded by the National Science Foundation, the Kansas Water Institute, Kansas NSF EPSCoR, Sedgwick County, and Sunflower Electric.
