Overview

Kristen Bosch serves the College of Fine Arts as the Director of Advising and Student Services. She received a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in College Student Personnel from Arkansas Tech University, where she developed a strong foundation for her work in higher education. Before stepping into the director role, Kristen served as an advisor in multiple capacities both at WSU and other four-year institutions. Her experience includes leadership in student success initiatives, orientation support, advising process development, and holistic, relationship‑focused advising practices.

Kristen and her team of Academic Advisors are committed to helping students reach their full potential. They work closely with students as they navigate their academic journey at Wichita State University, offering holistic guidance that ensures students understand their academic path while connecting them with helpful campus resources. She is committed to cultivating an environment that supports student growth and encourages meaningful connections throughout their academic experience.

Kristen’s lifelong involvement in the Fine Arts, with a particular love for dance, shapes her appreciation for the dedication and creativity that define Fine Arts disciplines. She has enjoyed sharing her overall love of the arts with her daughter, Sophia, who loves to sing and draw. Kristen understands the time, passion, and heart that Fine Arts work requires, and she deeply admires the students, faculty, and staff who bring such commitment to their craft.
