Overview
Dr. Pitetti graduated from University of San Francisco with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. He earned a Master’s Degree in Biology at Fort Hays State University, and a Doctorate in Human Physiology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He became a full-time Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Wichita State University in 1987 and has been with the department ever since. Dr. Pitetti has been honored with multiple awards of achievement during his time at Wichita State as a professor and researcher.

Dr. Pitetti has authored or co-authored: 106 refereed/peer reviewed research articles in national/international journals; 14 Publication in Conference Proceedings; 84 abstracts; 2 Technical Reports; served as Section Editor in 2 Textbooks; 7 book chapters; and over 100 juried performances before national/international audiences
