Overview

Kathy joined Team PPMC in 2022 as Senior Management Consultant. Her 30+ years of professional public service include primarily city and county management (Derby City Manager and Assistant Sedgwick County Manager), as well as several years as a state of Kansas Budget Analyst and a recent six-month stint as Interim Assistant City Manager in Wichita. Her superpowers are in economic development, budgeting & finance, and local government management. Her extensive volunteer leadership experience with nonprofits (Visit Wichita, Derby Community Foundation, Kansas Association of City/County Management, & Wichita Business Coalition on Health Care, among others) make her a natural go-to for strategic business planning, board development, executive coaching and people management. Kathy has a Master of Public Administration and a BA in English from WSU (which explains why editing/writing skills are her secret sauce).
