Overview
As Director of Student Outreach & Support, Katie Davidson is dedicated to helping students navigate challenges and connect with the resources they need to succeed. Drawing on more than ten years of experience in higher education, behavioral health, case management, and nonprofit leadership, she leads efforts to support students facing concerns related to basic needs, mental health, personal crises, and overall well-being. Katie is passionate about creating a campus environment where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to reach their goals.
Before joining Wichita State University, Katie spent several years leading programs and teams in organizations focused on domestic violence prevention, crisis intervention, and community engagement. Her professional experience has strengthened her commitment to advocacy, collaboration, and developing innovative support systems that respond to the evolving needs of students and communities. She believes that meaningful relationships, access to resources, and a strong sense of belonging are essential to student success.
