Overview
Ashley serves as a Case Manager and Advocate within Wichita State University's Student Outreach and Support team. In her role, she works directly with the College of Health Professions and the College of Education, providing students with individualized support, resources, and advocacy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Psychology. Her passion lies in supporting individuals experiencing addiction, homelessness, and times of crisis. She believes in seeing the good in everyone and meeting people where they are with empathy, compassion, and understanding.
Throughout her career, Ashley has worked in the behavioral and mental health fields, as well as within the addiction and recovery community. She is passionate about being part of the CARE team, where she can draw on her professional experiences and genuine compassion for others to help WSU students navigate challenges and connect with the resources they need to succeed.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, church, attending concerts, running, and shopping at Goodwill.
