Thursdays 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This workshop is designed to help customers create a resume that will assist them in presenting their skills/experiences in a professional and eye-catching manner. Customers are to bring a copy of their resume. Topics include: common resume mistakes to avoid, the importance of using keywords and information on how to create cover and thank-you letters.

Creating a resume
Tuesdays 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This workshop is designed primarily for customers with basic computers skills who do not have a resume. Customers may need to return to complete their resume and/or get one-on-one assistance. Topics include: what information belongs on a resume, examples of different resume styles and information on the language and transferrable skills to incorporate on their resume.

Online job search
Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This workshop will teach you how to use the Internet as a friendly resource to search for and apply for employment. Topics of discussion will include: understanding job search websites, learning the online application process and uploading resumes and cover letters.

Interview success
Mondays 1 to 4 p.m.
This workshop prepares you for today’s interview world by teaching every aspect of the employment interview process. Topics Include: understanding the interview process, how to answer tough interview questions and interview preparations and research.

Thursdays 1 to 2:30 p.m.
This workshop discusses techniques for maximizing your job search efforts through organization, planning, and utilizing often overlooked resources. Topics Include: effective use of your job search time, organizing your search for maximum impact and job search resources
