The Wichita State Maker Market showcases the talents of WSU faculty, staff and students and brings local artisans to campus. Join us in the 1st floor RSC to celebrate and promote these talented vendors.
Held annually, this two day event is located in the Rhatigan Student Center. Vendors accept various forms of payment including cash, check and credit cards. Common items featured at the Maker Market include handmade pottery, woodwork, knitwear, cards and jewelry.
Vendor Information
Load-in & Setup
- Load-in will take place on Isely Lane, located just West of the Rhatigan Student Center
- Vendors may begin arriving at 7:30 a.m. and must be setup and ready to sell by 9:00 a.m.
- Load-in will consist of a quickly transporting materials in the RSC and promptly moving your vehicle to the provided parking area.
- SAC will have minimal volunteers and carts for transport of materials. Please plan accordingly.
- Vendors are expected to have an attendant at their booth throughout the event
- Load-out assistance will only be provided at the close of the day.
- WSU is not responsible for lost or stolen goods and no overnight storage is available. All items must be loaded out each day.
Accepting Payments
- Vendors are responsible for their own sales.
- Vendors are not permitted to use WSU network or WIFI for accepting payments.
- Vendors to provide their own secured hotspot or cellular plan.
- Vendors, regardless of if you are a student or employee, are considered non-WSU Merchants and must complete and return Acceptance of Credit Card Payments by Non-WSU Merchants
Notes and Restrictions
- Acceptance of application is contingent upon receipt of items stated above and approval by the sponsor. In the interest of variety and the overall appearance of the fair, the sponsor reserves the right to deny any application.
- Items may not violate copyright laws, trademarks, and licensing agreements.
- The sponsor reserves the right to deny sale of specific items which are deemed inappropriate for this sale.
- Items that are deemed inappropriate for sale will be required to be removed from the exhibit area. SAC reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the determination of such items in these matters.
- No readily consumable food products may be sold. Mixes, coffee beans, and other items are permitted.
- COVID-19 Related | Wichita State University requires the wearing of masks on-campus and inside all buildings. Vendors must abide by this rule and will be asked to leave if not able to comply, registration fees will not be refunded.
The Maker Market audience includes WSU students, faculty, and staff. Marketing to our community is done through postings in residence halls, academic buildings, digital signage, campus newsletters, university calendars, social media and more.
Registration includes
- Two days of market sales in the Rhatigan Student Center
- One - 72" x 30" table, vendor may provide up to two additional tables or rent tables at time of registration
- Any electrical outlets, as requested on the application, are first come, first serve
- Publicity for the Maker Market to on-campus populations like students, faculty and staff.
- One parking spot

Final Deadline for Registration: Wednesday, November 12, 2025 by 5 p.m.
Applications received after the Final Deadline may not be guaranteed a spot at the
WSU Sponsored Maker Market. If we are not able to accommodate you in the market, registration
fees will be returned.
